We, as individuals who have earned their living, made a living, and educated their children in the cinema sector for many years, believe that we will thank this sector and pay our debt of gratitude by establishing the Yeşilçam Cinema Workers Foundation. For years, what we have seen in news bulletins and third-page news of newspapers is a scene from the miserable life of a once famous, famous actor and a headline written in large fonts; “He gave his years to cinema, now he lives on the streets!” The ill fate of these workers, who were grinded and forgotten by the sector, who made us who we are, who are the architects of stories from us, is now changing! Yeşilçam’s unforgettable actors, directors, and all the set workers who created this magic behind the scenes will experience both the happiness of being together and the peace and pride of not being forgotten in their new home to be established in Bodrum, the land of which was allocated by the YEŞİLÇAM CINEMA WORKERS FOUNDATION (YESEV).
